~ A Prime Minister and A Lord Mayor ~
The University of Leeds has recently been in the public consciousness following the election of one of its alumni, Sir Keir Starmer, as UK Prime Minister. Banners proclaiming their pride in their former law student adorned the campus alongside those featuring Abigail Katung, the first African to be elected Lord Mayor of Leeds and a former Development Studies student. With freshers week in full swing, the banners added to the good vibes feel of the campus on the day of the Grimm Network meeting.
