After two presentations, coffee in the mathematics department was on the agenda. This was memorable on account of the commendable effort made to show off the subject. Walls featured famous equations, aperiodic tilings and spirals; a pleasing backdrop against which to chat and consider further the ideas contained in Sam and Neil's talks.
